Honor Roll
Men of the 362d Infantry recognized for valor, for their wounds, and for their service, organized by the award they received. The names are drawn together from the regiment's own wartime history, the 91st Division's General Orders, and the regiment's General Orders of 1945—and merged into one roll per award. They range from the Distinguished Service Cross down through Purple Hearts, Combat Infantryman Badges, Good Conduct Medals, and driver and mechanic badges. Search any name below; the box covers every award at once.
Please read before relying on this list. These names were transcribed from
scanned, sometimes faint or even handwritten documents. Spellings, ranks, units, and
dates may contain errors. The list is
incomplete: the regiment recorded roughly 7 Distinguished Service
Crosses, 155 Silver Stars, 9 Soldier's Medals, and 747 Bronze Stars for the Italian
Campaign by the end of June 1945, plus 40 division citations—far more than are named here.

Still to come. Hundreds more Bronze Stars and Purple Hearts, the Oak Leaf
Clusters, and the division citations remain in the General Orders
and morning reports. Help us transcribe and verify them—contribute here.
